Photography / Japan
The first time I came to Japan, in 2015, I knew this was my place in the world. I felt it almost at a cellular level: my soul knew.
From then on I came back at least once a year, and since 2025 I’ve lived here in Osaka. These photos come from all of those years, as a tourist, as an explorer and as someone who lives Japan every day: Tokyo’s neon side streets and cherry blossoms, quiet shrines, old bookshops, and the cultural, social and spiritual contrasts that fascinated me from day one and still do.
